The
Sweethearts in Carhartts
Jean Prescott, the "sweetheart" in the middle
here, saw a wedding shower invitation that I made. She contacted me
and asked if I could build a website that looked exactly like this
invitation...the rest is history!
Take a look at this site...a very custom
website. I used this cactus I designed from several pictures taken of
cactus on our property. I then used the cactus as link elements to the
different pages on the website. There's even a cactus glowing with
Christmas lights used to feature The Sweethearts in Carhartts album "Sleigh
Belles"!
Sound clips are include on this website and I
set up a PayPal store so albums could be purchased directly from this site.
Their shopping cart is a wooden wagon...loved building this website!
Yvonne Hollenbeck
Yvonne Hollenbeck is another "sweetheart" who
is an awesome cowgirl poet and quilter! Once the Sweethearts in
Carhartts website was finished, she asked if I could "refurbish" her
website. Yvonne loves windmills and so do I. That seemed like
the perfect theme to use to build her website. Also, Yvonne lives in
the South Dakota prairie, so I used touches of prairie grass on her pages.
Her website now has a totally different look...a look with a theme that is
"all about Yvonne"!
Yvonne has received a number of poetry awards
and to showcase those for her, I created a "golden" windmill background for
that page and ended up using it for several other pages as well.
Yvonne made I must say the most unique quilt that is my all-time favorite
quilt ever. This award-winning quilt is featured on a page giving info
about
Yvonne's quilt program entitled "Patchwork of the Prairie"!
This website also has a PayPal store and a guestbook.
Retro Designs
I have made many friends who are designers of
scrapbook kits over the past 8 years of making online scrapbook pages.
After the website and store that I spent most of my scrapping time closed,
most designers moved on to other sites and stores. Helen was waiting
for the old store to possibly reopen, but when it never did we decided to
create her own store. This is an ongoing project as we add 1-3 of her
kits to the store each month. I first helped Helen create a custom
blog and then designed her website store to match her blog.
If you need a website especially
if you want one that doesn't look like all the other websites out there,
please send me an e-mail and we will work together to build a website that
is perfect for you!

If you prefer a more traditional style
website, I'll be glad to work with you on that as well. This site was
built for a non-profit group that I have worked with for many years.
After being diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis and learning to live with the neuro-muscular disease, I wanted to reach out to other MG patients.
One way I could do that was by making a website for our Northwest Texas
Chapter of the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America. Our chapter is
the oldest remaining chapter in the organization and that was the featured
theme of this website update designed last year. More history needs to
be added, but all the help info for patients is completed!

I'm currently update my husband's website and
will post it here once it has been completed.
Making videos is also part
of the "and more" of who I am...here's one posted here so far!
